Club meetings will begin, August 26, 2026 through May 12, 2027 in the Fairwinds Christian School building. Club is 6:30PM (please do not arrive prior to 6:20 PM) to 8:00 PM promptly.
Plan to have your Clubber there for our 6:30 start time to maximize their Club night experience.
For all that Pre-Register, please be prepared to pay for your Clubber's items (i.e. Dues, book) on the first night in the form of cash or check or you can pay on-line through Fairwinds Baptist Church's Website by visiting Fairwinds Baptist Church - Bear, DE.
If you have not pre-registered, an order will be taken for the items needed and those items will be provided the following week unless an order of the items are required.
Our Club is broken into 3 groups:
- Cubbies - Age 3 [as of August 26, 2026] and 4 – must be potty trained)
- Sparks - Kindergarten through 2nd grade
- Truth & Training (T&T) - 3rd grade through 6th grade
If you have children 6th grade through 12th grade, FBC Teen program begins at 6:30 PM either in the Church Teen Room or at the Pavilion.
We are so excited that you have chosen to have your child participate in Fairwinds Baptist Church's (FBC) AWANA this year!
AWANA is a worldwide ministry that has been serving churches and communities for over 60 years. We continue to reach into our community and encourage children to know God personally, love Him wholeheartedly, and serve him passionately. We want this to be a ministry your Clubber will be EXCITED to attend and invite their family and friends!
Our Awana team members are volunteers, please pray for them and our club! We look forward to continuing to or becoming a special part of your Clubber's growth and walk with God!
We use a "Move Together" Method in our Awana Club, therefore, each year all Clubbers begin a new book, even if their prior year's book was not completed. All Clubber's in their assigned group work on the same verse assigned for that week.
If your Clubber would like to complete a book from a prior year we encourage that effort and will listen to their verses prior to the start of a club night during our Fast Track time.

Dues for each Clubber is
This fee includes the following items needed for each Clubber:
- Club Handbook - New book each year
- Uniform (vest/shirt) - When your child moves up to a new club
- Bag/Backpack - When your child moves up to a new club
- Dues for awards, prizes and snacks
Replacement items will be charged at normal fees: Books = $15, Vests = $15, T&T Shirt = $20, Cubbies/Sparks Bags = $10, T&T Bookbag = $15
Payments can be made in the form or credit card through the FBC on-line payment system (Tithely) at https://www.fairwindsbaptist.com/give-online. Please place in the notes section "Awana Registration and your Clubber(s) name".
